We have high expectations for our children and we carry out regular assessments to ensure that they are making steady progress. Assessments are conducted at the end of each term in each subject area. The assessments allow us to refine our teaching and learning to ensure that the individual needs of each child is being met.
The school day in primary begins around 8:15am. Morning snack is 9:30am and lunch is around 12:00am. Afternoon snack is around 2:00pm. Their school day finishes at 3:00pm.
Primary offers English Program and follows the balance of the Thai and the English National Curriculum. Children will become globally aware, confident, life-long learners. Children are taught specific skills in each subject area within a broad, integrated and meaningful context.
The curriculum conducted in Thai language includes the following subject areas:
Math, Science, History, Design Technology, Art, Music and Thai language.
The curriculum conducted in English language includes the following subject areas:
Math, English, Science, Geography and Physical Education.
Children from grade one to grade six are taught Mandarin language one lesson per week. Grade 1 to 3 students will focus on the fun and excitement of communicating in Chinese. They will learn to read and write, but the emphasis is on verbal communication and vocabulary development. In Grade 4 to 6 the interest is maintained through a variety of approaches, songs, games and engaging activities. They will continue to strengthen their reading and writing skills.
